  • Extensive gardens on the right side, just down the road from the main gate into the old Edo Castle is ninomaru garden. Full time is on the East side of the castle during the Edo period, built the ninomaru Palace was placed to the East Garden. It seems to old garden restored to the 0/1968 a garden now. A lush well-kept garden was quiet, nice garden, forget that here in the middle of Tokyo.

  • Ninomaru Palace repeatedly destroyed and rebuilt. 0/1867 (1867)-the Palace was burned down and had a facility, such as a horse-drawn carriage or wagon Vault since the Meiji era, but in the public garden, the garden has been restored under of the age of the 9 Shogun Ieshige. It is a nice wooded area continues, even if so far.

  • Near the Tokyo station, large park in what was a fortress, the remains can be seen. Beautiful pond with carps. If it is hot to take care of a day there is a Museum and also concerts of unique architecture entry free and sanitary room

  • Beautiful gardens. Well preserved building and guard houses. Good place to walk and relax. The stone walls are magnificent. It's really big, can spend the whole day there, enjoyed the scenery and history of the place. One of the must visit in Tokyo.
  • This is a nice place to admire history and get away from the urban landscape in the middle of Tokyo. When you're in the middle of the gardens it feels like you're not even in the city. Overall very relaxing experience.
  • Perhaps the most picturesque section of the garden east, with a koi pond, a wooden shelter and a waterfall. Relaxing to just soak in the atmosphere and just take a few pictures. Loved how they arrange and maintain the place.
  • A beautiful place to walk around. The immaculately manicured gardens, the towering walls, the well preserved guard house, it truly is a place to behold. Just make sure you are wearing a good walking shoes.
  • Beautiful gardens to stroll around in. It is a very large garden, know that you will be walking A LOT. There are fields that you can picnic on and rest. Great for couples, families, and one person wandering. You cannot see the imperial palace from here. The only way to see the palace would be to book a tour in the palace through their website!!

Where to stay in Tokyo

Tokyo abounds with excellent places to stay, from luxury affairs to humble budget-friendly lodgings. Its glittering skyscrapers house numerous international four- and five-star hotels, both in the populous cultural hotspots of Shinjuku and in the business centers of Akasaka and Shinbashi. Meanwhile, hostels catering to the shoestring traveler lie scattered throughout the city. For a memorable, distinctly Japanese experience, seek out a ryokan, a traditional bed and breakfast with tatami floor mats and sliding screen doors.
