  • The ninomaru and sannomaru denominated non-being accustomed to flat, has almost become a garden. So in the middle of downtown, historic facility rather than green was impressed that there are places overflowing. Pleasant walks.

  • Walking in the garden, but this was excellent. It was in beautiful flowers, good views. Higashi Gyoen National Garden walk clockwise from the front gate and end will be here, but here first also good I think. Was taking pictures of tourists from overseas often lots of flowers and garden views. I think come according to the season of flowers, good location.

  • Edo Castle ninomaru is located on the left side of the honmaru, the third Shogun Iemitsu's life, play in 1630 by Kobori Enshu, made a garden for the line.

  • The gardens are beautiful to visit, and provide a wonderful contrast to the surrounding city. The entrances provide a beautiful photo opportunity, definitely give yourself some time to stroll around and explore the entire area. It's free to access, though I don't think it's open every day so make sure you check ahead. The bold stone walls, nice gravel paths, and beautifully manicured gardens and lawns really make you feel like you've been transported out of modern Tokyo.
  • Very calm and peaceful place to spend your time. It is not usually crowded. Admission is free. You can easily spend hours walking around and exploring the gardens , the different sections and see the remnants of the Edo period. It easily took me two hours to walk around the entire garden. They have AC rest rooms available around the garden to rest. It is a beautiful place to spend your time away from the hustle of the city. Must visit place. It is a ten minute walk away from the tokyo station.
  • This is a beautiful Japanese garden. Admission is free. It is a great place to pack a picnic and enjoy the day. There are traditional historic building and walls with educational displays around the garden.
  • Wheelchair access is difficult due to steep slopes everywhere. Paths are paved however, so with assistance, the gardens are viewable.
  • Beautiful gardens. Well preserved building and guard houses. Good place to walk and relax. The stone walls are magnificent. It's really big, can spend the whole day there, enjoyed the scenery and history of the place. One of the must visit in Tokyo.
