  • If you're a fan of Harry Potter, then find time to visit USJ. Expect every show or ride to be in Japanese. A fast pass is ideal especially for the Harry Potter rides, since the lines are always long.  more »
  • In the middle of the parade parade is TV as well as the much touted, but is discontinued. It is unfortunately too was looking forward to. Recently, many poor maintenance, as well as the parade it I think. Even though I came from so far away, sorry. Park Charter event participation was sad.

  • This place is great for kids and when we reached there, there were few rides were closed for service or maintenance. Due to rainy day, it was quite messy but managed to try the Harry Potter ride. It s...  more »
  • Generally less crowded than Disney Tokyo. But there is a wider variety of foods comparatively. The rides are fun and Harry Potter is one of the main highlights. Bring the usual sun protection and such. Staff are enthusiastic and the meet the public sessions of the various characters are always fun. But even with the lighter crowds the lines for the rides are long, be prepared to wait. In all, a good experience for the kids, but to fully enjoy all the rides, kids should be about 122 cm tall, of course by then, you have to pay for them so, weigh the benefits. If you have younger kids, you can take advantage of the child switch concept or simply switch care givers throughout the day.
  • A must to buy the Fast Pass!! It was worth every dollar. However it can be a bit pricey. I got the fast pass 7 and that cost me about S$170. Not including the admission ticket of about S$90+. The best ride was The Flying Dinosaur!! A must for the thrill seekers! Hollywood Dream and HP Forbidden Journey were both enjoyable as well. Do walk around the park to try different themed food such as minion sandwich or cream puff! Photo worthy and taste good.
  • One of the best places to visit.. must go whenever visiting japan.. rides are more adventurous compared to Disneyland... Best ones were Harry Potter, flying dinosaurs, Minions, Hollywood roller coaster (homongous).. and many more.. seems one day is not enough to cover the major ones.. try scheduling weekday for visit to save from long queues.
  • This is simply amazing. It's the first time I went to a theme park, not a fan previously. But the Hollywood dream and Minions totally changed my mind. For the Harry Potter fans, we arrived roughly 1h before the park opened and there were already like 20+ visitors ahead of us in our line alone. The moment it opened, we rushed to Harry Potter, no waiting entailed. The ride was a bit scary but really cool. Minions was really relaxing. Single Rider was available in Hollywood Dream. I went after taking the backwards ride. I am not sure but all three single rides I went on they were facing forward. One tip: if you book the ticket online, better print the QR code, i failed to scan it at the entrance.
  • They are driven by profit without caring about customer experience. It was a rainy day today and I got there 100 minutes after they opened their gate. They should know by then that their customer volume was not going to be big as normal. However when I asked to buy an express ticket, they told me Express7 was sold out but the reality was they lied because three out of the seven attractions included in Express7 was closed for the day. But they didn't hesitate to sell me the Express4, which includes four attractions that were open. But due to the rainy day and a weekday, it was not busy at all. I only benefited from using it once. All the other three attractions had the same waiting time between the normal line and the express one. The most unbelievable one was Harry Potter normal line was even shorter than the express line. Actually, every attraction on the day was quiet and no queue at all, or maximum 5-10 minutes waiting time. They should have avoided selling express tickets on a day like today and just be honest with customers at selling point that there would be tiny or nil difference by using the express ticket. What a disappointing service Universal Studio Japan has provided. They prioritise profit over customer service and experience. Further more I was given a Japanese map even though I only spoke English at the ticket office. For the more than 600 US dollars I paid for the family, this is the worst service ever around the world.
