  • It's a pretty park, the view is interesting. The redwoods are imposing and gorgeous in the same time. The ducks are more adorable that in others places and they like when people taken pictures. The night view of the restaurant on the top of a mountain is fantastic, it looks a huge spaceship floating in the air. And the place is great to do a lot of different sports.
  • Pretty park. Lovely walk by the water. Not to crowded! Great place to take photos. Highly recommend it.
  • Beautiful garden next to lake wakatipu. Trees, playground and tracks all in the garden, the other end takes you to Franklin road where lots lake view hotels are located. Great place to take kids for a walk. There's a cafe called bath house near the town side.
  • We hadn't planned on visiting this garden..But since we were staying close to it and since its pretty bright till very late in the evening we decided to go.. and believe me it was an experience in itself! There are trees you can climb ..Swing on ropes which have been tied to a few trees..Small streams for water play..and of course just lay back and relax.the lake (beach)is just a couple of minutes from the garden. We ended up visiting it thrice in our 3 nights stay at Queenstown..Awesome experience..Highly recommended especially if u have kids.
  • Although this is just a stone's throw away from our hotel, we made our visit on our last day - an hour or less than that before we went to the airport for our local flight to Christchurch. When we saw the lovely gardens, we realized we could have gone on our first few days and have spent more time here. Such breathtaking views of Lake Wakatipu and Remarkables from this site! The autumn trees were lovely as well as the colorful, lovely flowers - picturesque! We took lots of pictures and they turned out very pretty! If you get tired of all the adventures and activities, go here for a more relaxed, chill time..touch & smell the flowers and just stroll around the area. Had a nice time here! Would love to be back to try the sports and go around more the other areas we've never been since we were pressed for time. It's a beautiful park worth discovering!
