With daring art, a dynamic food scene and a wealth of natural attractions, Hobart is a small city with big ideas.
Museum-lovers will appreciate Port Arthur Historic Site and Mona. Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Cascades Female Factory Historic Site and Battery Point. Change things up with a short trip to Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary in Brighton (about 30 minutes away). There's still lots to do: shop like a local with Salamanca Market, get engrossed in the history at Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery, pick up some local products at Farm Gate Market, and enjoy the sand and surf at Seven Mile Beach.

Bicheno is a town on the east coast of Tasmania, Australia, 185 km north-east of Hobart on the Tasman Highway, with a population of 853. Step out of the city life by going to Wineglass Bay Lookout and Nature & Wildlife Tours. Next up on the itinerary: identify plant and animal life at East Coast Natureworld, make a trip to Bicheno Blowhole, enjoy the sea views from Cape Tourville Lighthouse, and relax in the rural setting at Freycinet Marine Farm.
